Challenge # 232 - Head Shots

Holy smokes!  Last Sunday in August already?!  How did this happen?  Where did summer go?  Well, hopefully between Back-To-School shopping, and finishing up Summer Vacation plans you can still find some time to craft and play along with our new challenge!

We are always excited to welcome a new sponsor, and we have a great one for you!  You can purchase images at the Etsy Shop and you can enter challenges and see some fabulous inspiration at the  SLSlines Challenge Blog.

And now a little about the artist!

SLSlines is the work of Sal Scheibe, a freelance illustrator and graphic designer who loves to draw and create fun illustrations. Sal works as the Art Director of ArtTrader Magazine. Prior to freelance illustrating, she worked as a Creative Designer for a music firm working with TV and advertising clients.
Sal spends her nights drawing geeky things like RPG characters, zombies, fairies, awkward people, pretty girls and odd animals. She offers a b...road range of fun digital stamps in many themes from geeky to cute and whimsical to realistic. Her digital stamps start life as sketchy little doodles which are then cleaned up digitally in Photoshop and made presentable and perfect for you.

Now onto the challenge!  Our theme this time is "Head Shots" - Use a close cropped, closeup, or head shot image on your project.  The lucky winner will receive three single digi images from the SLS Lines store.  Not a bad haul at all!

Here's a little inspiration for you from our lovely team:

Can't wait to see everyone's best face forward for this one, and the chance at such a fantastic prize.

Challenge #230 - Perfectly Purple

Welcome to another fabulous challenge.  This time it is called "Perfectly Purple".  I am Rebecca and I will be your hostess this time around.  Our sponsor is Art by Miran and they are gifting 3 digis as the prize for this challenge.  If you can't wait and need some of these cute image NOW, you can shop HERE!

Badge 01

Here is a little blurb:

I love art I will continue creating my art, and continue my love for creating art

I was born in Seoul, South Korea. I grew up with Korean and Japanese Manga. In my childhood, I loved drawing and making my own little stories. I moved to Canada in my late 20s.

I have worked on a variety of publications, ranging from children's to contemporary adult genres. I have contributed as a artist and colorist. I also worked as a graphic artist and layout designer for non-comic publications. For several years I was able to share my passion through teaching art to elementary school aged children. These experiences have influenced my recent artwork.

I love to share my art. I will continue creating my art, and continue my love for creating art.

I am so thrilled to show you what the design team has created for your inspiration.  They are all so fantastic!

The last one is mine and I am afraid I messed up.  Somehow, I got my images messed up and I colored the wrong one.  My apologies to Art by Miran.

Thanks for all the hard work ladies and thanks to you for stopping by.  We can't wait to see your Perfectly Purple entries.  Have a great day.
